The mums across the front porch. Another shade of purple. They are full of bees at this time of year.
Our little Autumn Blaze maple tree. It is putting on a good show. The leaves are starting to come down today. I hate to think of winter.
The American Cranberry with the sun shining on it. This picture was taken last year...it wasn't as vibrant this year. It just goes to show you...the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Our neighborhood has been pretty....not as pretty as past years, but we should be thankful for what we have. Fall color is a gift from God I think. It's a reward for all the hard work we gardeners did all summer long. When the color is over...it will be time to put the garden to rest...and we will rest too.

Balish, your color at your own home is gorgeous! My brother lives in New Hampshire and he said the color has peaked where he is.
The mums are really beginning to be pretty here. I must take some pictures as this is the first year the back yard has really be mature.
How great it would be to see just ONE tree with the colors you get on the East coast...
Love,
Mona
Wow, that is a beautiful aster plant! Is it planted in the ground or in a container? I have never seen one so nice.
As I said in my post...the colors here are not as nice as last year. I guess we just can't have it all. Mona..your flowers are so pretty year round, and we have snow to look forward to.Take some pics of your mums please.

Hi Zoey..The aster is planted in the ground. I don't know what kind it is...it was a gift years ago and I brought it with me, when I moved here. Everyone thinks it's a mum. Balisha
Hi Balisha. Your asters are so pretty. I love the big deep purple plant. I only wish mine looked as lovely as yours. Your entry is looking so beautiful for Fall.
Your flowers are beautiful. I think I have the same purple Aster.
It is at every home I have had in the past. I brought a piece to the country. I will take some sections off and replant them after the first of the year.
