It's time for our bouquet for the month of May. MGB...monthly garden bouquet. My bouquet is a simple one...just forget me nots in an interesting container. I didn't really like this vase, when my old neighbor gave it to me. I didn't say so...to her anyway. When she moved away, I got it out and tried to use it a little more. Each time, I would think of her.I find that dainty little flowers look best in it. The blues in the vase are picked up in the flowers. Why don't you go to http://www.azplantlady.com/ This is where you can see so many beautiful bouquets...some elaborate and some simple. Noelle hosts this each month. It has been fun to find just the right container, flowers, and a setting for it. It's fun...and as you can see, you don't need many flowers to make a charming bouquet. Most of us are newbies at flower arranging and can learn from the other entries. Visit her to participate or just to look around.

What an unusual vase. I especially like it with the floweres that are currently in it.
The vase is amazing and the blooms are so appropriate! Larry
Hi Balisha,
I love your container and it really shows your flowers to their greatest. Thank you for participating each month :-)
You have certainly used the vase to its best advantage. The forget-me-nots look lovely in it!
That is an odd and wonderful vase! I love the story of the neighbor's gift. Sounds like you have slowly come to love the vase and the memories it brings.
Those forget-me-nots are just lovely! I've finally put some in my garden and am looking forward to the blooms...in the meantime I'll enjoy yours!
I think that the vase got as many comments as the flowers.I've learned to love it... as I did my neighbor. Sadly she's no longer here, but I have things to remember her by. She loved glitz and many things she brought me had lots of glitter on them. I'm not much for glitter, but I loved that she took the time to make me something. I think of her everytime I see something sparkly.
