A Sentiment

God knew what He was doing when He sent a gentle breeze and brought a lovely butterfly to set my heart at ease. The happiness of your friendship and the gentleness of your words have touched my life in special ways and now I feel assured. Thank you for your loyalty and for reading everyday. I only hope you find things to make a happy day.

An Update

I haven't heard anything this morning yet, but yesterday they started to wean him off the respirator and it worked, after being on it for a week to the day...so he is breathing on his own with assistance of oxygen. There is talk about a possible transplant...if they find he's a good candidate. So, this is the first step in the right direction.
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments, prayers, and for just being there for us. People have said that we bloggers don't really know each other...all I know is that you blogging friends have helped me so much. When I can't sleep at night...I come here and read your prayerful comments and somehow it calms me. I am so grateful for all of you and also for you who never leave a comment.
Hugs Balisha

Thank you so much for the update. Being out of touch out here in blogger land can be hard sometimes. We are praying and praying for all of you, especially your wonderful son. Our grandsons, Timothy and his brother Nicholas, just made a long hard drive from Atlanta to Napa, California. You can bet this grandma was praying for them, too. Timothy was moving there to a new job. Nicholas went with him to help drive and they made it in two days. N. will fly home today, I don't trust planes. There is no end to this praying.

Glad to hear he is breathing on his own.

May you continue to feel love and strength through this ordeal.

YES!! Coming off a vent is a big deal and signals great progress. Continuing to pray that Tim's journey back to health will continue in good stead.

Balisha..this is wonderful news. You are right. They are heading in the right direction. Getting weaned off the ventilator is a huge step..thank heavens it's working!!
I know you are going through such stress..it's a terrible time. All I can do is hold Tim in God's healing light in my mind and heart.
My prayers are with you, dear friend.
