That's quite a list of birds that your daughter saw. Sometimes we get a Pileated Woodpecker in our yard...they are so awesome because they're so big!Christys Cottage Wildlife Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13112409875692610049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-68163875893221995562013-04-06T05:39:39.512-05:002013-04-06T05:39:39.512-05:00I'm glad you are able to be out working in you...I'm glad you are able to be out working in your gardens. In our area we really don't see many varieties, and I don't have bird feeders as we are gone so much in the summer and they would go empty. I do have some woodpeckers in the walnut tree next to my bedroom window and they are fun to listen to.

Your mums sound like they will be beautiful. You are making quite a bit of progress in your gardens!

Happy Weekend!

XO,
JaneBlondie's Journalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988377413260331618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-47335228536529098092013-04-05T15:44:14.015-05:002013-04-05T15:44:14.015-05:00Hi Friko,

Are yours the late flowering variety? I have some that flower in early spring, they get pruned back after flowering.Frikohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04277167831642088694noreply@blogger.com
