The bright red flowers are beautiful.Barbee'https://www.blogger.com/profile/11316077390373348067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-50266061196405555232012-12-04T16:48:18.359-06:002012-12-04T16:48:18.359-06:00I had a rosemary plant a few years ago and brought...I had a rosemary plant a few years ago and brought it in for the winter. It started losing it's little needles and really looked sad. I didn't know how to water it. Put it out in the spring and it didn't survive. This one was planted this year...and has done so well. It is supposed to be hardy. So, I mulched it good and now will wait to see what happens in the Spring. I do love rosemary and I hope it survives.I checked on pineapple sage and there are many culinary uses.

BalishaBalishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17298193443371503407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-90662588131532193442012-12-04T16:28:27.539-06:002012-12-04T16:28:27.539-06:00:) I love lavender, too, but I've been loving ...:) I love lavender, too, but I've been loving it since I was a young mother, not just since I became an old granny. My granddaughter turned up her nose at the scent when she wore a sweater from my dresser drawer where I had kept a bar of lavender soap. Now that I am an old lady, I love it still. The only sage I had this year was a pineapple sage; don't know if it is edible, I just grew it for the hummingbirds. I wish I could grow rosemary here. Do you take yours indoors for the winter?
