My tiny finch just passed that I have had for years. I loved him. Like a child I wrapped him in a little piece of floral cloth and tied it with a ribbon..and buried him myself. He was mine..so I tucked him away in the earth. I will plant something lovely on his tiny grave and I will miss his little song.
You have a tender heart, Balisha. When someone is so touched by a little robin..they are a gentle soul. I am glad I have met you.
MonaWsprsweetly Of Cottageshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17990765326246470929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-31046188344614750342009-03-27T14:27:00.000-05:002009-03-27T14:27:00.000-05:00A moving post today Balisha. I couldn't get that poor thing out of my head for days.Elenkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11377371859667172825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-73344443693510175092009-03-27T10:16:00.000-05:002009-03-27T10:16:00.000-05:00What a poignant post, Balisha. Until then, I'm like you... super sensitive to these things. I remember grieving over a dead robin.Barbee'https://www.blogger.com/profile/11316077390373348067noreply@blogger.com
