It needs to be stripped and done over because the wild goldenrod and wing-stem have taken over.Barbee'https://www.blogger.com/profile/11316077390373348067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-2765898972113867462011-09-02T22:11:07.523-05:002011-09-02T22:11:07.523-05:00Aren't those flowers lovely!Aren't those flowers lovely!Margie's Musingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11206751037182686016noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-17636291408039201192011-09-02T18:11:52.803-05:002011-09-02T18:11:52.803-05:00I have to confess that the wildflower picture was ...I have to confess that the wildflower picture was taken from the place where I bought the seed. My woods is very shady, so I could never expect a show like this one. I am happy with just a few flowers mixed in with the other things growing there...
Amber...I will be thinking about you when that storm comes in. I think that the one coming is nearer New Orleans. Let's hope Katia is nice and behaves herself...if she comes to the US.

Everyone...Have a great weekend and keep cool :)Balishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17298193443371503407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-38926218624368018782011-09-02T15:55:16.766-05:002011-09-02T15:55:16.766-05:00Oh what a sweet memory your snowdrop brought to mi...Oh what a sweet memory your snowdrop brought to mind. Years ago I planted some and hoped they would come up and be ok here in Texas. They did and my hopes were fulfilled. Your wildflowers are so beautiful. We have to go out to see them along the highway or wherever the paper tells us the bluebonnets are blooming in the spring.

My daughter in law used to give me an amarillys for Christmas. I'd plant it after and would have a beautiful red flower for Valentine's. I have made a lilly garden, but can't remember if they bloomed this year. The Easter lillies did, but I don't know about the others.

We are expecting a "cold" front on Sunday so maybe you will get it on Saturday. It should drop our high temps from 100+ to the low to mid 90s. The weather is just crazy right now and I'm guessing I don't need to tell you that. There is a tropical storm in the Gulf now to go along with everything else.Amber Starhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04084517063365211835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-44541060003517626792011-09-02T10:54:01.827-05:002011-09-02T10:54:01.827-05:00Your got them all covered Balisha.
