I always worry when my yard isn't perfect when people look at it.(although it rarely is) but taking care of your husband is so much more important than your yard this year and it is good that you have your priorities in line.

CathyTolentreasureshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06824185306484314086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-32814405361644511412010-07-22T21:11:03.617-05:002010-07-22T21:11:03.617-05:00Looks like my kind of restauarant Balisha - how pr...Looks like my kind of restauarant Balisha - how pretty! It's wonderful you got a chance to get out and spend time with a friend. We all need a break, and I hope yours was a good one after working so hard taking care of your sweetie and picking up the slack as he recouperates.

Glad to hear Joe's doing well. It's a good sign that he's getting a bit bored. I know what you mean about him not being a patient man - brings back a few memories of the Lawn Man's recovery from surgery earlier this year. ;)garden girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13284047851881823280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-10208675673722118952010-07-22T13:34:40.627-05:002010-07-22T13:34:40.627-05:00This was good for you. Gardens are never done!
As time goes by I like my garden to look less manicured and more natural.
I did not pick veggies in my little garden yesterday and today many squash had to put on the compost pile. One Woman's Journey - a journal being written from Woodhaven - her cottage in the woods.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12548226150115102345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-67966882018216110552010-07-22T11:39:38.244-05:002010-07-22T11:39:38.244-05:00I came back to answer Marnie's question...yes ...I came back to answer Marnie's question...yes it is Crumpet's in Genoa in the picture. It is a very busy little restaurant. Just what the little town of Genoa needed. I love to go there...the same people who own the restaurant own the stores across the street. Isn't it funny how little places like this can be so popular in a ordinary little town? They draw people from everywhere. I've heard that their teas have a waiting list for maybe a year. His incision is clean and healing, he walks with a cane, loves having visitors, and loves the memory foam mattress topper on our bed.He can't get interested in anything much yet...tv is starting to bore him. He's doing just like the drs. predicted. He starts therapy in a few weeks.Balishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17298193443371503407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-34480130857257203012010-07-22T09:35:51.031-05:002010-07-22T09:35:51.031-05:00Hi Balisha, is Joe progressing like the doctors ex...Hi Balisha, is Joe progressing like the doctors expected?

Was that the Crumpets in Genoa you visited? Never been there but it looks so cute. There used to be a tiny restaurant in Winnebago called Between Friends that served sandwiches on home made bread with some wonderful cheeses. The owner alway played the best music and the shop was full of antiques. It was fun to go and have lunch and look at the gifts and antiques. Sadly, it changed hands and no its not the same.
MarnieRoses and Lilacshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07121676379580186489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-80543548370110356302010-07-21T22:46:11.047-05:002010-07-21T22:46:11.047-05:00Hello Balisha,

My garden has suffered a bit this summer as I have been busy caring for my son as he recovers from surgery. Thankfully, he is now walking again. I pray that your husband continues to recover and I am thankful that you were able to spend an afternoon with a friend :-)Noelle Johnson https://www.blogger.com/profile/12198931083102476324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1526821574480507893.post-69854730814708488552010-07-21T19:35:54.036-05:002010-07-21T19:35:54.036-05:00Glad you were able to get out and catch up with a ...Glad you were able to get out and catch up with a friend. Nothing to be embarrassed about Balisha. Sometimes family commitments are at the top of our priority list. It happens to all of us at some point. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
